Cruising

Thornbury Yacht Club’s many active cruisers explore the Thirty Thousand Islands of Georgian Bay, the Bustards, the North Channel and even further each summer.

Scheduled rendezvous are held at Hope Island in the South in July and in the North in August at either Kilarney or at a wilderness location in the North Channel. In addition, unofficial rendezvous with TYC members occur throughout Georgian Bay and the North Channel.

Whether you need tips on the best anchorages, company for long crossings or assistance when the need arises, it’s good to know fellow TYC members may be close by.
